Multivitamins Plus Dextrose (Vitarose)
Indications: It is used for treatment and prevention of vitamin deficiency.
Dosage and Administrations: 500 to 1000 mL intravenously, and the intravenous infusion rate should not exceed 8 mL/minute or as prescribed by the physician.
Precautions: Administer slowly into the vein. Do not use unless perfectly transparent. Never administer remains of a previously used solution.
Contraindications: Should not be used by the patients known to be hypersensitive to any of its components.
Drug interactions: Pyridoxine can decrease the efficiency of levodopa in the treatment of patients with Parkinson’s disease. This product should not be used as primary treatment for specific vitamin deficiencies such as: Beriberi, Pellagra, Scurvy and Riboflavin or Pyridoxine deficiency.
